Our commitment to sustainable and responsible development

At Bianchi-Giavotti, we believe that industrial growth must be closely linked to respect for people, the environment, and the social context in which we operate. For this reason, we have undertaken a structured sustainability process, documented and shared through our Sustainability Report, available and publicly accessible.

The document describes the actions, projects and results obtained in terms of environmental, economic and social sustainability.

Our approach is based on three main pillars:

Environmental sustainability

We continuously invest in low-impact technologies and systems. We monitor and reduce energy consumption and emissions thanks to a fleet of state-of-the-art, predominantly electric machinery. We promote waste sorting and the responsible use of resources, optimizing materials and reducing production waste.

Social sustainability

We put people at the center. We work to ensure a safe, inclusive, and growth-oriented environment. We offer ongoing training, develop transversal skills, and invest in corporate well-being. We encourage ethical and transparent behavior, with a particular focus on gender equality and talent development.

Our work revolves around the plastic, an often discussed material, but with extraordinary potential. Lightweight, resistant and versatile, it is fundamental in areas such as medicine, diet, automotive and renewable energy.

We know its environmental impact, but we believe the solution lies in more conscious use. Information, responsibility, and a culture of recycling are at the heart of our vision: plastic, if managed correctly, is an infinitely reusable resource.

Sustainable production and smart technologies

For us, sustainability is made up of daily, measurable actions. In our factories, we have implemented concrete solutions to reduce waste, optimize resources, and limit environmental impact:

  • 100% sprue recycling (where possible)
  • Use of post-industrial and post-consumer recycled materials
  • Design of direct injection molds, without waste
  • Adoption of digital technologies (Industry 4.0) to monitor and improve energy consumption
  • Recovery of heat generated by presses to maintain the temperature in the work environments
  • The project includes the installation of a photovoltaic system for the self-production of clean energy.

People at the center

Sustainability also involves the well-being of our people. We value each employee through training programs, a focus on work-life balance, and equal opportunities. We promote inclusion and professional growth, believing that human capital is the most valuable resource for building a responsible future.

Towards a more conscious tomorrow

By aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda, we continue to work to improve our social, economic, and environmental impact. Through transparency, dialogue, and daily commitment, we aim to be an active part of positive change for the region and for future generations.
